A cardiac occluder is a medical device implanted through a minimally invasive interventional procedure, primarily used to treat congenital heart disease conditions such as atrial septal defects and ventricular septal defects. Made of a nickel-titanium alloy, the device exhibits superelasticity and durability, adapting to the dynamic cardiac environment and gradually integrating with the heart's structure through tissue cell proliferation, achieving permanent repair. Compared with traditional surgical procedures, it is less invasive, has a faster recovery, and does not require secondary replacement. Preoperative cardiac evaluation and anticoagulation therapy are required, and regular follow-up and postoperative nursing care are required.
